New Mexico’s capitol of Santa Fe is perched on a hill with beautiful 360 degree views of the piñon dotted high desert. During a diner party at a friend’s house in the City Difference just two days before the summer solstice, I was able to catch this new view of the Sandia Mountains at sunset. From 60 miles north of Albuquerque, this towering mountain of mine appears to be just a bump on the horizon.
